Finding ‘your tribe’ can be hard in Second Life, and ‘Friendly Beacons’ connect active communities with Everlife players looking for somewhere to go, something to do, and people to meet. By hosting a Friendly Beacon, your location can become part of Everlife's network of recommended destinations. Players may discover your location while exploring the grid, looking for ‘Friendly’ places to visit, or searching for somewhere they can connect with other residents via the ‘Friendly Friend Finder’ at the Everlife store.
There's no fee to participate. Friendly Locations simply need to:
Maintain a public group that visitors can join.
Host at least one public event each week.
In return, Everlife helps point players beyond the places they already know and toward communities like yours.
You make your location worth visiting. Everlife helps give residents a reason to find it.
